MEET THE BAND . . .

Scott Clark, Lead Guitar

Scott began his music career in Atlanta at the age of fourteen before moving to Texas to join the jazz studies program at the University of North Texas. He has worked with such diverse artists and bands as Wade Bowen, Grooveline Horns (Kelly Clarkson, Jason Mraz, Blues Traveler), Darius Holbert (Everlast/House of Pain, Sofie B. Hawkins), Rachel Loy, Dave Madden, David Messier, Mingo Fishtrap, John Pointer, Rick Trevino, Jimi Tunnell (Steps Ahead, Laurie Anderson) and many others.

Daniel Sanchez, Drums

Daniel has worked with Wynton Marsalis (Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra), Dan Nimmer (JLCO), Veronica Swift (Mack Avenue Recording Artist), Andre Hayward (JLCO), Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band), Rich Redmond (Jason Aldean), Alan Haynes (Texas Blues Legend), Douglas Lawrence (Count Basie Orchestra), Kenny Williams (The Lion King), Ron Wilkins (Birdland Big Band).  Yeah, he's that good!

Pierson Keating, Keyboards

A pianist to the core, Keating has been in love with the keys since the age of eight.  That love has taken him on quite the journey starting with a jazz and composition double major at West Virginia U, then onto to Nashville where he performed in David Oakleaf's band and worked with songwriter Dave Pahanish.  From there he's played virtually every form of piano performance there is, from upscale Jazz to Dueling Pianos and cruise ship gigs. Now he's an Austinite and performing with Robin Mordecai while exploring his own fusion and alternative rock muses.

Laura Mordecai, Percussion

After a brief career in the film business, Laura found her way back to the percussion section in the early 2000's via Austin Legendary Latin jazz band Beto y los Fairlanes.  She has recorded with them as well as with Stephanie Urbina Jones and the Honky Tonk Mariachi, The Texicana Mamas, Javier Chaparro & Salúd and more.
